The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association and the Ohio Horseman’s Benevolent and Protective Association, which represents Thoroughbred horsemen in the state, have announced that Governor Ted Strickland will meet with all Ohio horsemen and discuss the horse industry in a one-on-one setting.
The meeting with Governor Strickland is scheduled for Sunday, June 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 pm at Eutrophia Farm, which is located at 12449 Caves Rd., Chesterland, OH 44026, in northeast Ohio.
The farm has a large picnic area where there will be seating, provided the weather is cooperative. If not, there is an indoor arena which will easily accommodate the expected crowd.
This meeting with Governor Strickland will provide all horsemen involved with Ohio racing the opportunity to speak face-to-face with Ohio’s chief elected officer. (Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association)
