Ohio's legislature will be voting on a budget next month--a budget which could include a provision allowing expanded gaming at the state's horse racing tracks--and horse industry groups, including those involved with harness racing, are encouraging people to attend a rally on the South Plaza of the Statehouse lawn in Columbus on Tuesday, May 19.
The rally is at 10 am, and those planning to attend can find information on parking and directions at www.ohiostatehouse.org. For driving directions, click on the “Information” drop down at the top of the page, and choose “Contact Information.” For parking, just click on “Information” drop down.
