Ohio Triple Crown winner Osborne’s Gypsy won her 2007 debut with a 1:57.1 mile in the opening round of Ohio Sire Stakes for 3-year-ol filly pacers at Lebanon Raceway Friday night. Brett Miller picked up the winning drive, one of three he had in six races for 3-year-old fillies.

Osborne’s Gypsy won seven of eight races last year and was second in her only defeat, collecting $125,282 for owner Jerome Osborne and trainer Eric Hamlet. The daughter of On The Attack came into the race off two winning qualifiers at Northfield, and Miller moved her into the lead in the stretch for a 1 1/4-length victory.

In the second filly pace division Ritch Attack (On The Attack) defeated Funtime Filly and Miller by a neck in 1:56.4.

Millers two other driving scores came in two of the four divisions for filly trotters. He captured the first split with Winnie The Who (Emile Angus), going wire to wire in 2:01.2.

In the second division Miller swooped three wide at the three quarters with BV’s Sister (Big Victory) and drew off to post a 4 1/2-length score in 2:02.2.

Other division winners were Worthy Flier (Pegasus Spur) for Chip Noble in 2:03 and Tilly Bomb (Chip Chip Hooray) for Ray Paver in 1:59.
