Four fillies, I Like Stephanie, Van Anna, Midnight Hooray and Osborne’s Gypsy, kept their hopes alive for an Ohio Triple Crown sweep when they won their respective $100,000 divisions of the Ohio Sire Stakes Championships at Scioto Downs Saturday night.

I Like Stephanie (Ilooklikemymom) went wire to wire in 1:56 to win the 3-year-old filly trot for driver-trainer Ray Paver and owners Barbara and William Paul.

Don’t Blame Her (Village Connection) was also a wire-to-wire winner, scoring in 1:51.3 in the 3-year-ol filly pace for driver Brett Miller, trainer, Virgil Morgan Jr. and the Matt-E-Mike Stables.

Osborne’s Gypsy (On The Attack) drew off by five lengths for her wire-to-wire triumph in 1:54.,3 in the 2-year-old filly pace. Greg Grismore was in the bike for trainer Eric Hamlet and owner Jerome Osborne.

Midnight Hooray (Chip Chip Hooray) was a 1:58.4 winner in the 2-year-old filly trot for driver Jay Cross, trainer Joe Essig and owners Donald Breeze and Patrick Sibler.

Other Sire Stakes winners were Noble Falcon (Nobleland Sam) in 1:55.3 for Brett Miller in the 2-year-old colt and gelding pace; Ima Spur (Pegasus Spur) in 1:58 for Martin Wollam in the 2-year-old colt and gelding trot; Osborne’s Bullet (On The Attack) in 1:55.3 for Tyan Stahl in the 3-year-old colt and gelding pace; and Master Pine (Master Lavec) in 1:58.,1 for Dave Rankin in the 3-year-old colt and gelding trot.
