Oldest fan dies at 105

Minnie H. Horowitz, harness racing's oldest fan, passed away on Feb. 10, 2006 at the age of 105.



For more than 20 years Mrs. Horowitz, who was born on Feb. 6, 1901, would celebrate her birthday at the Meadowlands with dinner in Pegasus and a trip to the winner's circle to present a trophy and receive a kiss from the winning driver.



She was too ill to make the trip to the track this year. Her last visit was on Feb. 4, 2005.
