Buckys Luck (1:54.4) and Blue Burner (1:53) were each second-leg winners of the $15,660 Ontario Boys Pacing Series for 4 year olds at Woodbine Monday night.



Favorite Buckys Luck and driver Rick Zeron had the lead to the quarter in :29.1, then relinquished it to Ca Fortune (Roger Mayotte). Buckys Luck hung in on the rail until pulling away in :28.2 to win by 2 ½ lengths. Ca Fortune was second and Whippet Good (Shane Weber) finished third.



The 4-year-old son of Camluck is owned by Dominic Colarusso Jr. and trained by Rheal Bourgeois.



The win put Zeron over the $60 million mark in career earnings.



Blue Burner (Mark MacDonald) held off heavy favorite Pacific Mariner (Luc Ouellette) to win the second division.



The two 4 year olds battled through fractions of :26.3, :55, and 1:23.4 before Pacific Mariner finally relented and finished seventh. Northern Edge (Roger Mayotte) got up for second and Jans Cam (Chris Christoforou) hung on for third.



Blue Burner is a son of Grinfromeartoear and is owned by Steve Calhoun and Michael Lindley and trained by Casie Coleman.
