The Chicago Tribune has reported that driver Mike Oosting is in jail Monday morning awaiting a hearing after being arrested early Sunday morning on a domestic battery charge. Oosting, 48, is being held without bail on the misdemeanor charge and is scheduled to appear in bond court Monday.
Oosting, who has more than 4,400 driving victories and $27.8 million in purse earnings, was the leading driver at Balmoral Park in 2010 for the sixth consecutive year.
