Owners team up in Florida

Standardbred owners Allan Saul and Dana Parham have teamed up to open a supercenter aquarium in south Florida near Pompano Park. Saul, who campaigned the top pacing filly Armbro Amoretto, will open his first aquarium supercenter, Big Al's, in the U.S. in Tamarac, Fla. He already has 20 stories in Canada.



Parham, the principal in the Odds On Racing Stable, is also participating in the $1.8 million project through his Aquarium Retail Holdings Inc. He also owns Living Color Enterprises and Living Color Property Development. Living Color makes custom aquariums.



The proposed 19,000-square foot store will include a 12-foot-round predator tank with sharks and shoppers will be able to view a shark feeding at 7 p.m. every Tuesday.
