Trainer Greg Peck promised his 8-year-old son, Brendan, that if Palone Ranger won the Messenger last Saturday night at Yonkers he would bring the colt pacer to Brendan’s school bus stop. Palone Ranger did win the $546,830 Messenger, and Peck showed up with the victor at Brendan’s bus stop Thursday afternoon.
