The 2YO filly pace, the only event to split into three divisions, led off the day. SJ's Blissful Lady (Blissfull Hall) won the opener with a 2:02.3 effort for driver Kyle Bolon. Terry Almeyer trains the filly for S&J Racing, and she won her second straight and took a new lifetime mark.

Budgirls Hanover, a daughter of No Pan Intended, won the second race by pacing in 2:01.4. Jordon Miller drove for his father, trainer JC Miller, and owner Randy Ringer. It was win #7 in start 14 for Budgirls Hanover.

The final division was won by Bliss Falcon and Roger Hammer, beginning a streak of six straight wins for horses owned, trained and driven by Hammer. Bliss Falcon (Blissfull Hall) paced her mile in 2:02.2.

The three-year-old filly pace was next, with each division going for more than $6,200. Real Espresso (Real Artist) paced in 2:01 for her 15 th win in 29 starts on the season. Stablemate Bell On Wheels won the other split in 2:01.1 for her 16 th victory of the season in her 26 th start.

Luscious Al won the first division of the 2YO Colt Pace, covering the mile in 2:02 with a last quarter in 28.1. The Arturo gelding won for the tenth time this season.

In the second pacing division, Half Moon Bay put his name into the record by pacing in 2:00.4, equaling the all-age track record. Hammer co-owns the Western Hanover colt with Todd Schadel. His record for a 2YO colt would stand, but he would quickly lose his share of the all-age mark.

In the first division of the sophomore colt pace, Hammer and Nevin Gilbert's Lahaye (Real Artist) became the first horse to break the 2:00 barrier on the half-mile training center track, pacing in 1:59.3. For Lahaye, it was his 15 th victory of the year, and he is now 14 for 14 on the fair circuit, including four all-age track record and a pair of 3YO colt pacing standards.

In the second division of the 3YO colt pace, Hammer's streak came to an end, as A K was a winner for trainer/driver Steve Schoeffel. The Audie K gelding paced in 2:04 for breeder/owner Terry Schoeffel.

Freshman filly trotters were next in a pair of $6,386 divisions. The first event found Schoeffel visiting the winners circle for the second straight time, as Keystone Fling (Donerail) was a winner from the second tier, trotting in 2:07.2 Owned by Stephen Lander, Virginia and Kathy Schoeffel, Keystone Fling won her third straight fair start.

The second division was won by Caviar's Dancer (SJ's Caviar) in 2:05.4. Owned by Dr. William Solomon, the filly is trained and was driven by Jamie Coffy.

Sophomore colt trotters were next on the track, and Columbia County scored in the first group, trotting to his 11 th win of the year. Owned by John and Michelle McMullen and trained by John McMullen, Columbia County was driven to the win by Wilbur Yoder.

The second colt trotting event was won by Tigerlynx and trainer/driver Bill Fahy. Owned by Moira Fahy and John Bowers, Tigerlynx (SJ's Photo) covered the mile in 2:07.1.

In the 2YO colt trot, Tag The Lady continued his dominance on the circuit, posting his seventh win in 10 career starts for trainer/driver Marty Wollam. The Tagliabue gelding is owned by Patricia Wollam, Dennis Sheehan and Charles Zeune.

Polar Rail, making just his second fair start, won the second division for owner Bob Key and trainer Rich Gillock. Brian Zendt picked up the winning catch-drive behind the Donerail colt.

The day ended with a pair of 3YO filly trotting events, with victories going to Classic Bloom (Sebelia) and Bank Star (Banker Hall). Classic Bloom, who was unraced at two, picked up her third win in her 30 th start of the year for owner/breeder Phil Sollon, and trainer/driver Bruce Dufford. The winning time was 2:05.2.

Bank Star cruised to a 2:05.2 win for John and Michelle McMullen and driver Wilbur Yoder. It was her eighth win of the season.

The fair circuit now heads east, opening a two-day meet at the York Fair on Monday evening at 6PM. For video highlights from the PA Fair Circuit, visit www.youtube.com/phrc08. (PHRC)
