After reconsideration by the Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission, the Pennsylvania Fair Sire Stakes Championships will be held at The Meadows racetrack on Oct. 6-10, as originally scheduled. "Upon further reflection," director of harness racing Anton J. Leppler said, "it was decided that holding these finals at The Meadows will be in the best interest of the Pennsylvania fair horsemen, which as always is the Commission's paramount concern." The pari-mutuel Sire Stakes Championships and consolations for 2 year olds have been moved to Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Harrah's Chester. The pari-mutuel 3-year-old races will take place as originially scheduled on Sunday, Sept. 7 at Chester. (PHRC)
