Three-year-old filly trotter Pampered Princess is scheduled to qualify Friday morning at Mohawk Racetrack, the first appearance for the reigning divisional champion since she finished sixth in the Hambletonian behind Donato Hanover Aug. 4 at the Meadowlands. Pampered Princess raced first-over for driver Tim Tetrick in the Hambletonian, eventually tiring and making a late break in the stretch. John Campbell, who had driven Pampered Princess in 10 of her 15 career victories, will be reunited with the daughter of Andover Hall after having to climb out of the sulky in the Hambletonian elim and final to drive Flirtin Man, a colt he co-owns. Trained by Jimmy Takter and owned by Bob and David Anderson, Pampered Princess earlier this year won the Elegantimage final and Delvin Miller Memorial final. She currently has career earnings of more than $1.1 million. Pampered Princess has drawn post three in the third morning qualifier.
