Panaramic Art was the key to the Meadowlands Pick 6 and he proved his backers right as he rolled to his 19th consecutive wins on Friday night. Upsets in the other five legs of the Pick 6 produced a hefty $39,640 payout for selecting all six winners. A $35,000 carryover sparked a $73,821 pool for the Friday night Pick 6. A $1 base wager, the Pick 6 spans races four through nine nightly.

Sent off the 2-5 favorite, Panaramic Art paid $2.80 to win the seventh race, a $20,000 division of the Exit 16 W Series. Driver George Brennan steered the horse to a 1:51.2 victory.

Panaramic Art, trained by Al Meyer, is searching for his third series crown at the Meadowlands. He swept the Oil Burner and Clyde Hirt series earlier this winter. The Iowa-bred gelding’s winning streak began July 15, 2007.

Cinderella Guy paid $13 to win the opening leg of the Pick 6, the first of the night’s two Exit 16 W divisions. The Steve Elliott trainee capitalized on a pocket trip for a half-length win in 1:51.3.

Lawman was the biggest price of the night, paying $22 in the $42,000 sixth race featured trot. Eric Goodell guided the 7-year-old to victory in his first start off a 10-month layoff.
Also pulling off upsets were Happy Hour Bliss [race five, $8], Speed of Shogun [race eight, $11] and Marietta Hall [race nine, $8.80]. (Meadowlands)
