Adonis B, who was unraced as a 2 year old, was the fastest winner in Pennsylvania Sire Stakes 3-year-old trotting colt action at The Meadows Saturday night, scoring in 1:57 for owner Curby Stillings..

Adonis B had made just one start previous to the Sire Stakes, winning in 2:01.1 at The Meadows. The gelding is by SJ’s Caviar and out of the Lindy Lane mare Angela Lane.

The other divisions were won by Lolique (1:59.2), Love Of My Heart (1:58.3) and American Forever (1:57.2).

Lolique, who had defeated Vivid Photo in a qualifying race at Rosecroft laste month, overcame suffering interference and breaking stride to win by 11 lengths. Mike Wilder drove the gelding by Tagliabue for owners Pam Wagner and Scott Woogen.

Love Of My Heart has made a recovering of his own. The American Winner colt was one of the horses who escaped from his trailer and ran onto Interstate 78 when a tractor trailer hit the trailer last fall. Love Of My Heart was en route to the Breeders Crown when he was in the accident.

Bob Key owns Love Of My Heart as well as another Sire Stakes winner, American Forever. Both horses are trained by Rich Gillock. American Forever controlled his race to post his three win of the season in eight starts. He was unraced as a 2 year old.
