PASS consolations to now carry $30,000 purses

The Pennsylvania Harness Horsemen’s Association has announced that the organization has increased purses for the 2 and 3 year old consolation races in this year’s Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championships, bumping them from $20,000 to $30,000.
 
Due to construction at The Meadows, this year’s championships and consolations are being held at Harrah’s Chester Racetrack and Casino. The four  consolations for 3 year olds will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, and the four for 2 year olds are slated for Wednesday, Sept. 24. (PHHA)
