Paulette Revere takes Meadows F&M trot

Return Home
March 02, 2013 | Print View

Paulette Revere willingly yielded the early lead to RT Sun Poco, then powered by her in the lane to capture Friday’s $18,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Trot at The Meadows.

Paulette Revere shot to the front for Mike Wilder but was pocketed at the quarter by RT Sun Poco. The 5-year-old daughter of Victory Sam-Hopeful Joy was the stronger mare in the lane, downing her rival by a length in 1:56.3 over a "good” track. Greathallofchina rallied for show.

Mike Palone trains Paulette Revere, who has won three of her four starts since her claim by Brian Gillespie.

Tony Hall drove four winners and Dave Palone three — all for trainer Ron Burke — on the 14-race card. (The Meadows)
