The sophomore pacing lass Peeeeyouuuuuuuu broke her maiden impressively in taking a leg of the Floating Dream Series at Scioto Downs on Thursday. She was clocked in 1:57.4 and won by 3-1/4 lengths.

Trainer-driver Billy Walters sent his Yankee Cruiser filly to the lead at the start and never looked back. He stole a soft second quarter and had more than enough left to rebuff any challengers. Favored Stand Out Girl was second and Bridge The Magic finished third.

It was the first win in three starts this season for Peeeyouuuuuuuu. She made a break in her previous start. Last season she was winless in four tries.

She is owned by Dale Walters, father of the trainer, from Delaware, Ohio.

The other divisions of the Floating Dream went to Becauseofyou (J. D. Wengerd) in 1:58.2 and Previous River Del (Dan Noble) in 1:58.4.

Also on the 12-race program on Thursday were two divisons of the Steamin Demon for Ohio-sired pacers. The fastest went to Cruisinfullthrottle, a sophomore gelding by Yankee Cruiser. He lived up to his name with an explosive homestretch kick that carried him to victory in 1:56 over favored Three New Dawns. Indian’s Rocket was third.

Chris Page steered the pacer for trainer Tye Loy and owner Roger Morlock of Valley City, Ohio. He paid $28.40 to win.

The other division of the Steamin Demon went to Theetownlittle guy and driver J.D. Wengerd. He overtook pacesetting The L Train to win in 1:57.2 by 1-1/4 lengths. He paid $50.40 to win. (Scioto)
