The Pennsylvania State Harness Racing Commission has issued the following directive that bars horses coming into the state from the Dovington Training Center in Delaware where a horse was recently diagnosed with herpesvirus and euthanized:
"Per the order of Director of Harness Racing Anton J. Leppler: no horse coming from the Dovington Training Center on Black Swamp Road in Felton, Del., shall be allowed inside a harness racetrack enclosure within the state of Pennsylvania until further notice."
