Perfect M Forever closed with a burst to score a 1:53.3 victory in the $26,000 Mares Open pace while Kellytuck Sophie took the $23,000 Winners-Over pace on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at Dover Downs. Jim Morand had a driving quadruple. Eric Goodell sat near the back of a pack of six in the first $26,000 distaff feature of the meet until the backstretch when he sent the 4-year-old daughter of Stand Forever to the far outside and blitzed her way to a fourth straight win for KSJ Stables. VC Atom N closed strongly for second in front of Chloes Silver Star. Kellytuck Sophie moved three-wide around dueling Lady Mach and Firiel Hanover on the final turn and then held off a fast finishing Keystone Rhythm by a long neck in 1:52.4 to win the sub-feature $23,000 Mares Jr. Open pace. Lady Mach held on for third. Veteran Kellytuck Sophie has won $72,730 for owners W.B. Brooks, Graham Grace and M&W stables.
