KSJ Stables’ Perfect M Forever ($8.60, Brad Hanners) scored a wire-to-wire win Tuesday in the $23,000 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway.
The 5-year-old Stand Forever mare held pocket-sitting Cruzin For a Livin N at bay with a one-length win. Alpine Gold N overcame an early miscue to finish third. "Perfect," trained by Josh Green, earned her 33rd career win in 74 starts.
Jeff Clark’s Itz Cherry Ripe ($4.20, George Dennis, 1:55) and Jeff and David Clark and David Cannon’s Ash Larue ($9.60, Tony Morgan) won the Mares Junior Open divisions, respectively. Both horses were trained by Jeff Clark.
Dennis registered a driving triple on the program. (Harrington)
