Perfect Photo remained perfect in 2010 following her win in the $20,000 Stallion Series for three-year-old trotting fillies at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Monday evening.

Trained by Julie Miller and driven to victory by Andy Miller, Perfect Photo stopped the timer in 1:57 in the third division of four of The Stallion Series at the Northeastern Pennsylvania racetrack.

With no show or Trifecta wagering because of a four-horse field following two scratches, Perfect Photo sat third for the opening panel with Fouroclocktea (George Napolitano Jr.) on the front end. Opening quarter was clicked off in 28.2 with the half reading 58.2.

Miller went after the leader starting at the clubhouse turn and became the new leader trotting down the backside. Perfect Photo got to the three-quarter marker in 1:27.1 and won by a length and ¼ over Pearly Princess (Tom Jackson).

Perfect Photo was coming off Stallion Series wins at Harrah’s Chester Downs and The Meadows.

Lindy’s Got Back (Howard Parker) finished third in the race.

As was Perfect Photo, Photo Charm in the very next and final division went off at 1-5 also and was a winner of this division with a time of 1:56.3 with Jim Morrill Jr. in the bike.

Trond Smedshammer trains Photo Charm, now with four wins in seven starts this season with two second-place finishes.

M S Heather M (Miller) was second in this division while third-place went to Liz (Mike Simons).

Photo Charm went wire to wire, taking this seven-horse field to the opening split in 28.1, half in 58 and three-quarters in 1:27, winning by a length and ½.

Pink Caviar (Eric Goodell) was given a two-hole trip in the second division behind second-place finisher Whisk Hanover (Morrill Jr.) and won by a half length over the latter distaff trotter with the timer reading 1:59.1.

Mark Harder trains Pink Caviar, now with two wins in seven starts this season.

Apple Plush (Napolitano Jr.) won the opening division, stopping the timer in 1:55.3, fastest of the four divisions. Apple Plush took the lead before the half and held off Special Appeal (Morrill Jr.) at the wire.

Agenda Tom Ridge (Matt Kakaley) was third in this division. This was the third win in nine starts this season for Apple Plush.(Pocono)
