Perretti Farms is opening a new stallion station in Newtown, Pa., just over the border from New Jersey, so its stallions can have the benefits of a solid sires stakes program in 2013.
Rocknroll Hanover, the leading money-winning sire of 3 year olds and all-age pacers this year, along with perennial trotting kingpin Muscles Yankee, and the young Lucky Chucky, will all stand at stud at the new Perretti in Pennsylvania location.
As New Jersey's sires stakes program has declined in value, at yearling sale time there has been a significant decline in popularity of offspring by sires standing at stud in the state. (harnessracing.com)
