Perretti named NJSS chair

Anthony J. Perretti, general manager of his family-owned breeding farm in Cream Ridge, N.J., has been elected chairman for 2007 of the board of trustees that administers the New Jersey Sire Stakes program in the New Jersey Department of Agriculture.

For the past five years, Perretti has been responsible for direct supervision of all aspects of farm operations for the leading standardbred breeding farm in New Jersey founded by his father, William.

Thomas A. D’Altrui was elected vice chair. The other board members are: David A. Meirs II, VMD, who served as chairman last year; Catherine Stearns Medich; and New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Charles Kuperus. (New Jersey Sire Stakes press release)
