Anthony J. Perretti, general manager of his family-owned breeding farm in Cream Ridge, N.J., has been appointed by New Jersey Acting Governor Richard J. Codey to be a member of the Board of Trustees that administers the New Jersey Sire Stakes program.

For the past three years Perretti has been responsible for direct supervision of all aspects of farm operations for the leading Standardbred breeding farm in New Jersey. The farm was founded by Perretti's father, Bill.

In addition to the appointment of Perretti, the Governor has re-appointed three other trustees, Thomas A. D'Altrui, David A. Meirs II, VMD, and Catherine Stearns Medich.

Stearns Medich currently serves as board chair and Meirs as vice chairman. D'Altrui is past chairman. The fifth board member is New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Charles Kuperus.

Prior to his farm activities, Perretti was a film producer in Hollywood, Calif., personally producing a number of independent films. Prior to that he was employed in the family's former chain of automotive dealerships. He holds a master's degree In fine arts from the American Film Institute in Hollywood and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
