Personal Ad, a four-year-old Artiscape mare driven by Jim Morrill Jr., won for the fourth time this year Wednesday (May 12) at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. After finishing seventh in the $28,000 open handicap pace for fillies and mares last week, Personal Ad stopped the timer in 1:53 in a race for non-winners of 8850 or 9 extended pari-mutuels life for fillies and mares. In 10 starts this season, the Kent Sherman trained mare has won four times while finishing second on two other occasions. She also has two third-place finishes in those 10 starts. Sherman, one of the leading conditioners at the track, also collected another win in an earlier race, winning with 15-1 Jealous Heart (Mike Simons) as a 15-1 longshot. Personal Ad went off as an 8-5 favorite in her race. Morrill Jr. won four of the first 11 races Wednesday night. Simons also collected three wins through the first 11 races of the 16-race card.
