"We're thrilled to have a horse of his accomplishments to join our stallion roster," said Dr. John Mossbarger of Midland Acres. "His record speaks for itself. We're very appreciative of owner Frank Bellino and family for their confidence in Midland Acres and in the future of the Ohio program."

Pet Rock is coming off a 1:48.2 victory over Foiled Again in the $200,000 American-National, despite starting from post nine and being parked all the way. It was his fourth win in the last six starts in the demanding older pacing ranks.

In the Winbak Farms Pace on Little Brown Jug day, Pet Rock paced in 1:48.1 over the half-mile track at Delaware, shattering the world record. Just priorto setting the half-mile track record, Pet Rock paced the fastest mile ever on a five-eighths-mile track, in winning the $125,000 James Ewart Memorial at Scioto Downs in 1:47.2.
Pet Rock is expected to make his final career start in the $500,000 TVG Pace at the Meadowlands on Nov. 30.
