Passionate Glide remained perfect in nine starts this year and stretched her overall winning streak to 10 straight with a 1:54 victory in the $234,500 Moni Maker Trot final for 3-year-old fillies at The Red Mile Sunday night.

Showing no signs of the hamstring injury that hampered her in August, Passionate Glide cruised to the 1 3/4-length win over Four Starz Lindy, with Susie's Magic third. Ron Pierce was in the sulky behind the daughter of Yankee Glide.

Jimmy Takter trains Passionate Glide for owner-breeder Brittany Farms. Now with 14 wins in 20 career starts, including the Hambletonian Oaks, she has career earnings of more than $1.47 million.

Jimmy Shin trotted to a 1:57.4 win in the fastest of three John Simpson Memorial Stakes divisions for 2-year-old colt and geldings. Hall of Famers driver Mike Lachance and trainer Ron Gurfein teamed up for this win, with Aisling and Artistic As finishing second and third, respectively.

Gurfein and Lachance also won the first two Simpson splits, giving them a sweep of the three $13,500 contests. Great Success defeated Snowboarder and Please Poppy in 1:59.1, while Creditable Winner notched a 1:58.4 decision over Boston Harbor and Cayenne Turbo.

Armbro Dancer won the lone $81,100 Simpson Memorial division for 3-year-old filly pacers. Pierce was in the sulky as the daughter of Blissfull Hall held off a late-closing Grandiose Gal, with Enhance The Night third.

Takter trains the winner for owner Louie Camara. The win was her eighth in 11 starts this year, increasing her seasonal earnings to nearly $400,000.
