Phil Hudon saved one of his finest drives for career win 3,000, guiding Indian Ridge Annie to the milestone victory with a beautiful pocket trip in Monday's seventh race at Woodbine. Hudon and "Annie" took the $12,000 claiming event by a head over Andromeda for trainer Robert Fellows and the Baystreetbulls Racing Inc. of Richmond Hill.

Indian Ridge Annie, a bay 5-year-old Armbro Operative mare, stopped the tele-timer in 1:57.2 and paid $58.30 to win.

The 32-year-old Hudon, who won his first race in 1993, says he doesn't intend to stop at 3,000. "My goal is to keep going forward and get lots of drives. This is something I really love to do."

It was the Winnipeg native's 28th driving win of 2007.
