Photographer Linscott dies

Jim Linscott, the track photographer at Hoosier Park and at many fairs in Ohio and Pennsylvania, died over the weekend in Anderson, Ind., at age 54. The cause of death is believed to be a heart attack.

Linscott had suffered a heart attack about six to eight years ago, but after recovering he resumed his schedule of taking pictures of harness races. He was often assisted in his work by one or more of his four daughters.

Plans for a funeral have not yet been made.
