Pink Ribbons fifth

Pink Ribbons, winner of $143,410 at 2 and 3, finished fifth in her 4-year-old debut over a "sloppy" track Friday night at The Meadows in a mile timed in 1:58.1.

The mare by Mr Vic sat fourth throughout the mile, then came first-over before the three quarters. She soon faded as pacesetter I'm Justa Lady (Tony Hall) drew off to win the $8,000 Open Handicap trot for fillies and mares.

I'm Justa Lady, a 5-year-old Inquirer mare, is owned by Janet Collins and Carol Jo Gaylor and trained by William Daumit.
