Sauce Two K was able to hold off a game Rushmore Hanover and driver Tim Tetrick to win by three-quarters of a length, with the Steve Smith-driven Worldclass Guy third. A gelded son of Valley Victor, Sauce Two K is trained by Richard Johnson for owners Vito Cucci, Michael Deutch and Anthony Ambrosio. Brooke Blue Chip stretched her winning streak to four with a 1:59 victory in the second Super Bowl split. Driven by Yannick Gingras, the daughter of Credit Winner scored by 1 ¾ lengths over the Sears-driven Sir Spitsbergen. John Campbell directed Southwind Nova to a third-place finish. Brooke Blue Chip is trained by Ken Anderson for owner Richard Hallahan. Baseball Express swung and hit one out of the park in the final Super Bowl division, with Eric Goodell driving the son of Conway Hall to an easy two-length victory in 1:58.2. Pumped And Gildin was second for Andy Miller with Sierras Dream and David Miller third. Jeff Smith trains the winner for owners Margaret Mancini and former Minnesota Twins manager Tom Kelly. Upsets were prevalent in the two $12,500 second-round divisions of the White Ruffles Series for 4-year-old pacing mares. She’s Got Go scored a 25-1 upset in the first division while Play At Wynn lit the toteboard at odds of 21-1 in the second. George Brennan rallied the Tom Fanning-trained She’s Got Go to the 1:56 victory, edging Makin A Statement and driver Sears by a neck. VIP Internet Stable owns She’s Got Go. After posting a 17-1 upset in last week’s first leg of the White Ruffles, Play At Wynn got away at even a bigger price this time around as she crossed the wire first for driver Eric Goodell in 1:55.2.
