The 2010 live harness racing season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will open March 23 and continue through Nov. 13, with a total of 136 race programs.
Live action will be taking place four days a week with a little different twist. For the months of March, April and May, live racing will be conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Post time will be 6:30 pm.
However, during the months of June, July and August, Friday evenings will be dropped with Monday evenings being added to the schedule. The final three months of the season will see a return of Friday nights with Mondays being dark.
Only Saturday afternoon posts of 5 pm will be held on Triple Crown days on May 1, May 15 and June 5.
Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be hosting the 2010 Breeders Crown on Saturday, October 9. Post time for that special day is to be determined. (Pocono Downs)
