Pompano announces series

Nomination forms are now available for the 2007 edition of the $250,000 Isle of Capri Pacing Series and the $125,000 Mack Lobell Trotting Series at Pompano Park in February. Both series will again feature preview events plus two weeks of elimination races, followed by a final for the top nine point earners in their respective series.

Last year, He Wants It All won the $159,000 Isle Pace final for the second straight year with a 1:51.1 mile and Hellava Hush swept the series with a 1:54.2 triumph in the $82,600 Mack Lobell final.

This year, the Isle of Capri Pacing Series has a $300 nomination fee per horse and will have the preview for $20,000 Feb. 3, the $50,000 first leg Feb. 10, the $50,000 second leg Feb. 17, and the $150,000 added final Feb. 24.

The Mack Lobell Trotting Series has a $200 nomination fee per horse and will have the preview for $15,000 Feb. 2, the $25,000 first leg Feb. 9, the $25,000 second leg Feb. 16, and the $75,000 added final Feb. 24.
