The Monday evening card at The Isle Pompano Park featured some masterful driving by Wally Henessey and Tom Sells as each of the veteran reinsmen turned in three-win performances.
Among Hennessey's wins was a 1:58 life's mark score with claiming trotter Flowing Joey. The 5-year-old gelding by Ilooklikemymom-Flowing Jody had been campaigning in Ontario at Georgian Downs and won his Florida debut for trainer Bill Griffin and the Trot Time Farm ownership group.
Sells was at his crafty best to time late stretch moves perfectly to get the nod from the photo finish camera with claiming trotter Pip's Affair for owner-trainer Dick Macomber and with claiming pacer Sphinx K for trainer Tony Catalono and owner John Giglio. (Pompano Park)
