The Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park is the latest track to offer free race program pages, live race night online audio and video streaming, and an archive of on-demand race video replays. Among the other tracks to offer these features free is the Woodbine Entertainment Group, which operates Woodbine and Mohawk racetracks.
"We are just responding to a pretty sizeable volume of requests for this, the big trifecta of on-demand services," says John Yinger, the track's Director Of Racing Operations. "The requests were from the racing customers, horsepeople, and the horse owners alike. The program pages, the live steam on race nights and the replays archive really serves everyone well. For example, replay access is really vital to a growing segment of handicappers.
"In addition, replays are important to a lot of horsepeople and owners that want to assess horses before they reach in with a claim or offer to make a private purchase," Yinger adds. "We have a great situation here since we're not subjected to the winter weather cancellations of the tracks up north. From the input I've received and based on the recent handle trends, interest in our product is on the rise. We felt this was the right time to move up to or restore the full range of online services for all industry participants concerned."
The free availability of past performance program pages, race night live audio-video streaming, and race replays is found in the 'racing' section of www.theislepompanopark.com. The race replay archive is inclusive of all live action at Pompano since the start of the current meet on October 16, 2010. (Isle Casino Pompano Park)
