Possess The Magic draws Moni Maker bye

Possess The Magic drew the lone bye for Sunday's Moni Maker elimination at The Red Mile, advancing directly to the $175,000(est.) final while 10 other 3-year-old filly trotters, including Hambletonian Oaks winner Danae, will vie for the remaining nine starting slots for that Sept. 16 contest.
 
By virtue of her $308,973 in earnings, the Ron Gurfein-trainee Possess The Magic will get the chance to sit out this week as her divisional foes do battle, with all but the last-place finisher advancing to the rich finale. Danae, who will be driven by Tim Tetrick for trainer George Teague Jr., has drawn post three in the elim.
 
Here is the complete draw for the Moni Maker elimination, which is part of a $1.7 million card that includes eight $200,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes finals and the $161,500 Nadia Lobell for 3-year-old filly pacers:
