Posts drawn for Rooney, Lismore at Yonkers

Post positions have been drawn for Yonkers Raceway's pair of Saturday night pacing stakes for 3-year-olds, the $250,000 Art Rooney (colts/geldings) and $150,000 Lismore (fillies). The field for the Rooney, with declared drivers is as follows--1-He's Gorgeous (Jason Bartlett); 2-Tobago Cays (Cat Manzi); 3-We Will See (Jim Morrill Jr.);  4-One More Laugh (Tim Tetrick).

 

The field for the Lismore, with declared drivers--1-It's De Lovely (Jeff Gregory); 2-Dancinwiththestarz (Morrilll Jr.); 3-Aries Angel (Brandon Simpson); 4-A and G's Princess (Driver TBA). 

 

Please be advised that both stakes shall be races as non-bettors before the 12-race, pari-mutuel card (first  post 7:10 pm). The Lismore is scheduled for 6 pm while the Rooney is scheduled for 6:15 pm.

 

Saturday night is also Yonkers' inaugural Summer Festival, a free, family-friendly evening beginning at 6 pm. Among the featured events, activities and giveaways are a carousel, slide ride, arcade games, Beach Boys tribute band, keychain, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and candy apples.

 

Yonkers' current live schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) remains in effect, with first post at 7:10 pm.  Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting available around the NYRA schedule. Thursday afternoon simulcasting ends at  approximately 5:30 pm. (Yonkers Raceway)
