Presidential final at Big M

February 02, 2005 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Presidential Series leg-two winner Life Source has drawn the rail for this Saturday's $108,600 final at the Meadowlands. The 8-year-old Life Sign gelding finished second in the opening round to Eaton Road Kill, and then after a week off when the New Jersey track canceled its Jan. 22 program due to a snowstorm, came back with a 1:50.1 victory in round two.

George Brennan picked up the drive on Life Source last week for the first time and he has once again been named to climb into the sulky behind the Rich Banca trainee. Last week's win also pushed Life Source's career earnings past the $1.5 million mark for Banca's father, Richard T. Banca.

First-leg winner Eaton Road Kill has drawn post five as part of a two-horse Mark Harder-trained entry with Luckyisasluckydoes, who will leave from post nine. Brian Sears will drive Eaton Road Kill while David Miller gets the call behind Luckyisasluckydoes.
