Pure Ivory stays flat, wins

Pure Ivory got down to business finally in the $50,000 consolation of the Elegantimage, winning by 3 ˝ lengths in 1:55. In her two previous starts this season the filly had broken stride.

A daughter rof Striking Sahbra, Pure Ivory is trained by Brad Maxwell and owned by Jerry Vanboekel, Harry Rutherford and Steve Condren, Condren also drives the filly.

Last year at age two Pure Ivory won 10 of 14 starts and earned $465,804. She took her mark of 1:57 winning a Breeders Crown elimination at the Meadowlands and then finished third in the final.
