Horsemen racing at Harrington Raceway were in for a pleasant surprise when looking at the track's most recent condition sheet, which reflected a 10 percent purse increase. Harrington races on a Sunday through Thursday schedule with a 5:15 p.m. post time. Racing continues through July 2, before a summer break. There will be one day of live racing during the Delaware State Fair on July 30, before the normal schedule continues on August 16. The track's signature event, the Bobby Quillen Memorial, which was won in 2008 by Mister Big, will hold eliminations (if necessary) on October 19, while the $315,000 (est.) final will be held October 26.
