PW Roman Lover continued to make a shambles of the North Strabane Pace for 3-year-old colts and geldings, drawing off to win by nine lengths in 1:52.1 on Monday at The Meadows. Dave Palone sent the son of Grinfromeartoear on a quarter-pole move, and they were unchallenged from there. Papa Hemingway rebounded from a break last week to be second with Alastair Hanover in third. PW Roman Lover has won his two series races by a total of 17 1/4 lengths and figures to be the heavy favorite in next week's final. Mike Palone trains PW Roman Lover for Bulletproof Enterprises. In the other $13,000 division, You'reapisawork and Ray Paver overcame a troubled first quarter to prevail in 1:55, three-quarters of a length better than My Wagons Dragon.
