Qualifiers at Big M

A few of last year's top 2 year olds, along with the 2004 Dan Patch 3-Year-Old Trotting Filly award winner, qualified at the Meadowlands Friday morning over a sloppy track. Those 2 year olds of interest include Self Professed (a winner by seven lengths in 1:57), Cabrini Hanover (a winner in 1:57.1), Magenta Hall (second, trotting in 2:02) and Third Reef (second in a 2:00 mile).



Also qualifying was Just Wait Kate, who won by nearly 10 lengths in 1:53.2, pacing her final half in :55 flat. Dawn Ofa New Day won his qualifier in 1:56.1.



Housethatruthbuilt, last year's top 3-year-old trotting filly of the year, finished second in a qualifier, trotting in 1:59. This was her first trip behind the gate this season. She is scheduled to compete in the next leg of the Classic Series, set for June 4 at Woodbine.
