Quik Pulse Mindale is scheduled to be at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Ky., this morning for for a check-up on a front leg after his fourth-place finish in a $45,100 leg of the Spring Pacing Championship at Woodbine on March 26.

"He had some heat in a front leg, but he's not lame," driver Tony Morgan explained. "After his race, Mike (trainer Mike Arnold) and I thought it best to bring him home and get a second opinion as to what's bugging him."

"It was my fault he didn't do better in that Canada race," Morgan said. "I sort of forget sometimes that he's not really that good on the front end, and I gunned him to the top and really should have let him come from behind. That's how he races best."
