The Detroit Free Press today is carrying a story about a year-long investigation into possible race fixing at all three Michigan tracks - Hazel Park Raceway, Northville Downs and Sports Creek Raceway. The story said that as many as 30 drivers, trainers and owners may be implicated and that three homes were raided on Thursday, March 4. Cooperating witnesses are being sought. Anyone with information can call the Michigan Gaming Control Board at 517-241-1426 or the State Police at 517-336-3437. The gaming board has an anonymous tip line, 888-314-2682.
