A media-only press conference scheduled for Friday at Grand River Raceway will reportedly be used by the Ontario government to make an announcement concerning the future of racing in the province.
A release from the Premier's Office stated that "an announcement on the future of the horse racing industry in Ontario" will be made at the press conference.
