Joe Muscara’s Radar Installed N ($14, Ross Wolfenden) scored an upset victory in Monday’s $21,700 Junior Open Pace at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.4. The 7-year-old Armbro Operative settled off a hot early pace in which pacesetter Sniper Hall blazed fractions of :26.3 and :54.4 with Artzina parked on the outside.
Radar Installed N tipped three wide up the back stretch and eventually surged by the front runners and opened up for a one-length win over Truly Chris and Fields of Honour A. For ‘Radar’, it was his sixth win of the year, five of which have come at Harrington. It was one of four consecutive winners on the program for Wolfenden. (Harrington)
