Rair Earth sprung a stunning 49-1 upset in the $50,000(C) Open Pace at Woodbine Racetrack Saturday night. With Phil Hudon driving for trainer Todd Gray, Rair Earth returned a hefty win payoff of $100.20 to his backers.!

Tigerama and driver Mark MacDonald led through fractions of :27.2, :56 and 1:24 while Rair Earth--who left from the outside 10 post--bided his time in second. Down the stretch Hudon tipped the 9-year-old son of Keystone Raider and he rushed past to go on to the 1:51.3 victory. Tigerama held on for second with Escape The Wind third.

Owned by Aubrey Friedman and Brian Nixon, Rair Earth won for the second time in 2006 and for the 46th time in his career.
