The Michigan Harness Horseman's Association (MHHA) is proud to announce that Dan Rakieten will become its next general manager in May. During a transitional period, Rakieten will be working together with current general manager, Nancy Corrion, who is retiring from the organization after 21 years of outstanding service.
Rakieten brings over 30 years of experience in the horse racing industry to the association. His innovations and dedication to his customers recently led to tremendous increases in live handle and attendance at Jackson Harness Raceway. "Dan's passion for our business and our horsemen will positively benefit our association and its members." said MHHA president Brett Boyd.
Rakieten is extremely excited about the opportunity to lead the MHHA. "I truly appreciate our horsemen and admire their work ethic." said Rakieten. "I look forward to working with our horsemen, racetracks, Racing Commission, fairs and state leaders to enhance and preserve the 75-year tradition of horse racing in Michigan." (MHHA)
