Only a few days remain to register for the 2009 National Harness Handicapping Championship!
Harness racing's only tournament to feature a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool, the NHHC will bring together the nation's top handicappers on Saturday, April 25 at Meadowlands Racetrack. Players can buy directly into the tournament for $800 [$400 entry fee/$400 tournament bankroll]. To play, contestants must bet 10 races: their choice of eight Meadowlands races, plus two designated mandatory races (one each from Balmoral and Cal-Expo). Players keep all pari-mutuel winnings. Prize payouts are to the Top 10, with first place secured at $20,000. The NHHC entry fee also includes a welcome reception Friday, April 24, in Pegasus Restaurant and dinner buffet and gift on Saturday, April 25. Registrations must be received by 8 p.m., Thursday, April 23 in the Meadowlands Marketing Department. To register by credit card, call 201-460-4050.
