Driver Dave Palone ran roughshod over the competition on Friday afternoon at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, as he won five divisions of the W.N. Reynolds Stakes. There were three divisions held for3-year-old colt and gelding trotters and seven divisions for 2-year-old colt and gelding pacers.

Palone did most of his damage with trainer George Teague, Jr. The pair notched three wins together for the second straight racing day. The Palone/Teague combination won with Mr. Apples in 1:54:1, Mattdultery in 1:54, and Whats up Now in 1:53:4.

Palone also notched wins with Hot Rod Mindale, trained by James Arledge, Jr., in 1:54:2, and Twin Character, trained by Mickey Burke, in 1:54:2. All of Palone’s wins came with the two-year-old pacers.

Driver John Campbell also had two Reynolds wins. He won a trot with Tasty Max, trained by Joseph King, in 1:56:1, and a pace with Free De Vie, trained by Chris Ryder, in 1:56.

The other trotting winners were Lovin Every Moment, trained and driven by Charlie Norris, in 1:56:1, and Idle Hands, trained by Donna Marshall and driven by Cat Manzi, in 1:57:1.

The Double Dion was the other 2-year-old pacing winner. He was driven by Yannick Gingras and trained by Kelvin Harrison.
